It allows regulation of tensioning and in turn treatment with paraffin, softening and draining of the yarn 18. It has a frame 1 which includes input and output yarn guides 16 and 17 respectively for correct conveying of the yarn 18, and devices for carrying out the aforesaid operations. The tensioning device has a disc 4 which can rotate and be locked by means of a bolt 8, which has two rods 5 which are diametrically opposed and covered by rollers 6 which are free to rotate and have stops 7. The extent and direction of rotation of the disc 4 has no limitation and, depending on the values selected, the greater or lesser tension of the yarn 18 is determined. The paraffin-treatment device includes an asynchronous gear-motor 10 with two directions of rotation, the shaft of which incorporates a support 11 on which is coupled a solid paraffin block 12. The speed of the gear-motor 10 is adjusted as desired electronically in order to soften the yarn 18 to a greater or lesser extent. The draining device incorporates a fixed tongue 13 and another, adjustable tongue 14 between which the yarn 18 passes in order to be cleaned of impurities. <IMAGE>
