PURPOSE:To integrate filtering processing of the MUSE decoder and to reduce the circuit scale by providing a 2-dimension filter executing simultaneously in-field interpolation processing and sampling frequency conversion processing to the decoder. CONSTITUTION:Figure shows the state of processing of an integration filter of a still picture system. The filter selects any of 6 kinds of count of a multiplier. That is, any of 6 kinds of phases is repeated in a signal after decoding with respect to a still picture of a MUSE video signal is the order of phase numbers 1-6 and the sequence is repetitively changes in the order of phase numbers 4-6 and 1-3 for each field. Thus, 6 kinds of phase relations are in existence between an input signal of 32.4MHz rate and an output signal of 48.6MHz rate. Then the signal is outputted while a coefficient group of 6 kinds of filters is selected for each picture element sample, the processing by a conventional sampling filter for a sampling frequency and inter-field interpolation is realized by one coefficient variable 2-dimension filter and the MUSE decoder is simplified. |
