<p>PURPOSE:To provide the traffic control system by which application of a traffic parameter is facilitated and the utilizing efficiency of a communication network is improved. CONSTITUTION:Each node monitors a cell exchange wait time and informs the time periodically to a network management equipment 4. The network management equipment 4 stores the result of monitor to a database 45 and estimates an average speed and a peak speed based on delay information on the path obtained from the database 45, an applied peak speed and a maximum data frame length when a new connection request comes from a terminal equipment, discriminates the reception priority of connection setting and generates a monitor parameter. Each node monitors the peak speed and the average speed for each connection and sends a monitor parameter updating request to the network management equipment 4 when the result of monitoring the average speed is considerably different from the monitor parameter. The network management equipment 4 uses the database 45 to estimate the average speed again and updates the monitor parameter.</p> |
