<p>PURPOSE:To set video and voice of a television to an output state by starting a timer when an earthquake movement is decided by outputting frequency of an earthquake detection signal within a decision time, and forcibly turning ON an auxiliary and main power switches until time is up. CONSTITUTION:An earthquake detector 2 in a television receiver 1 detects fluctuations of a predetermined magnitude or more upon occurrence of an earthquake and outputs an earthquake detection signal to a switch controller 4. A timer 3 is started by the signal to start counting of a predetermined time, counts the times each time the signal is obtained, and decides an earthquake when the number of the times exceeds a predetermined times within a predetermined time. When the timer 3 is started, an auxiliary and main power switches are automatically closed by the controller 3 until time is up. As long as a main power switch 6 is opened, the receiver 1 is set to a state for automatically outputting video and voice for a predetermined time or more and has a function of an illuminator during its period.</p> |
