The invention relates to a beehive frame which is made at least in part from wire. The beehive frame comprises an elongate bearing element and a substantially U-shaped wire bracket which projects transversely from the bearing element and is connected thereto. The bracket is connected to the bearing element, shifted out of the longitudinal centre of the bearing element over substantially half the thickness of an artificial honeycomb which is to be arranged thereon, and the bearing element has a slot, a side wall of which lies in a plane defined by a side of the bracket.
