PURPOSE: To increase the storage capacity of a cleaner thump (vessel). CONSTITUTION: A cleaning blade 20 contacts an image forming surface 11 of a photodetector drum 10. There is a waste tonner thump 30 behind the cleaning blade 20. Since a system only depending on auxiliary gravity replenishment to the thump (with no magnet) does not fill up the top section of the cleaner thump, it becomes a factor to cause the unefficient use of the cleaner thump and the much shorter service life of a CRU. The magnetic waste tonner is attracted into the area of the thump 30, which is not filled only with this gravity replenishment, by magnetic force generated by a magnet 40 so that the storage capacity of the cleaner thump can be increased. |
