PURPOSE:To usefully use a print buffer, to improve the efficiency of image data generation and in its turn to shorten print-out time by allowing picture data to correspond to a selected memory means. CONSTITUTION:A data analysis part 101 analyzes data from the external and generates respective image data of cyan, Magenta, yellow, and black on respective print buffers. In this case, one of unused print buffers in a print buffer group 103 is acquired and allocated to the picture data of a color to be generated. Respective colors are allowed to correspond to respective print buffer numbers to store the print buffers allocated to respective colors. The allocation of the print buffers is managed by using FIFO memories e.g. corresponding to respective print buffers. A device control part 102 prints out image data generated by the data analysis part 101. |
