PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and the quality and to reduce the cost by automating generation and processing of a CAD library model with less manual operation to the utmost to reduce a generating time after the entry of a circuit model and mistake attended with the generation. CONSTITUTION:The device is made up of a file 11 storing existing CAD library models, a file 12 for external command data storing a function, a component external size, a component pin and symbol information or the like as control data, a management file 13 storing a list of function data of existing libraries, component outer size, symbol information or the like, a data edit processing means 10, a work file 14 storing character data and coordinate data and circuit model connection information in terms of ASCII image, a file 15 for external command data storing circuit model connection information and a library generating processing means 16 generating a CAD library model and implementing additional processing thereto.
