Device including a fixed frame (1), comprising a narrow casing (2) for fitting the stator (12) of a linear drive motor, and a sash or leaf supporting a plurality of flat permanent magnets (13). According to the invention, this device is characterised in that the stator of the motor is fastened to a support carriage (11), prevented from moving within the casing of the fixed frame in the direction of horizontal movement of the sliding frame but free to move vertically inside the casing, the carriage including at least one guide member (28, 29) in its vertical movement with respect to the casing and running means (26, 27) bearing on at least one plane track (35, 36) carried by the frame of the sash or leaf and serving as a reference so as to keep the value of the air gap always equal to that imposed by construction. <IMAGE> |
