Composition, in particular a cosmetic composition, comprising an oil-in-water type emulsion, consisting of a discontinuous fatty phase and a continuous aqueous phase containing at least one polymer as stabiliser of the emulsion, the aforementioned composition containing at least one nonionic surfactant, and in which the proportion of surfactant is between 0.05% and 0.8% by weight relative to the total weight of the emulsion, and the aqueous phase contains, as stabilizer, two types of polymer: 1) at least one polymer (PA) chosen from the group composed of partially neutralised, crosslinked polyacrylic acid and partially neutralised, crosslinked polymethacrylic acid, the degree of neutralisation being greater than or equal to 10%, and 2) at least one crosslinked copolymer (CC) containing: a) acrylamide units, and b) 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulphonic acid units, at least partially neutralised, having a molecular weight of between 1 million and 30 million.
