PURPOSE:To provide the component inventory management method with a high job efficiency in which only one journalizing job is enough for received components and data of inventory master of both systems are always made coincident. CONSTITUTION:A terminal equipment 3 registers names of components and number of components received to a production management system 1. When a component equal to a component whose inventory is registered is already ordered and the inventory component number is deficient, the production management system 1 publicates a manufacture site direct delivery label 7 required for direct delivery of the component to a site and uses a stored data on-line transmission processing means 4 for a component inventory system 2 and informs the name of component and an inventory number being the result of subtracting a deficient number from the inventory number. The component inventory system 2 updates an inventory master upon the receipt of the component name and the inventory number from a stored data on-line reception processing means 5 and retrieves a location master to set the location and publicates a location storage job label 6 on which the component name, the location and the location inventory number are printed. |
