<p>PURPOSE:To provide a wheel for feeding an overhead transmission line in safety while suppressing damage thereof as light as possible. CONSTITUTION:A wire protective layer A easily deformable to wrap a passing wire upon application of load or pressure therefrom and recovered upon removal of the load or pressure is applied to the groove face 4 at the wheel part 1 of a wheel. This structure eliminates local concentration of the load of an overhead transmission line thus reducing the troubles of a wire, e.g. tilt or collapse of protruding strand part of an overhead transmission line having noncircular cross-section.</p> |
