<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter having excellent spectral characteristics, heat resistance, light resistance, and chemical resistance, and showing excellent storage stability of the resin soln. containing dyes and solubility or dispersibility of the dyes by selecting a substrate and a color resin film to be formed on the substrate from groups of specified dyes. CONSTITUTION:Specified dyes selected are added to a photosensitive resin liquid to obtain a color resin soln. This soln. is applied on a glass substrate 1 with a pinner to form a 2mum thick color resin film 2. The film is exposed to a high pressure mercury lamp under nitrogen gas flow, then developed with an aq. soln. of sodium carbonate, washed with water, and baked at 200 deg.C for 30min to form a color pattern. By measuring the transmittance of the obtd. color filter, it is found that specral characteristics of the dyes are good. Since the photosensitive resin liquid can be easily filtered, it is found that the solubility of the dyes is good. When the obtd. color filter is heated in an oven, the filter shows little change in spectral characteristics so that it has good heat resistance.</p> |
