PURPOSE: To appropriately manage the price of products and display inventory. CONSTITUTION: By communication lines 113 connected to price display labels attached to rails 100 along the end part of a product shelf, a computer 115 stores the respective labels by logical addresses and decides the positions of the labels. Further, a price inspection chart and an adjacency inspection chart are prepared and the items of a specified chart are made physically adjacent. Also, in a product position mode, a user presses a button on the first label of one end part of the shelf, then moves to a second label, presses the button, repeats the operation to the respective labels along the shelf similarly thereafter and gathers information relating to the sequence of the labels. |
