PURPOSE:To precisely spot and apply a liquid to be inspected and a reference liquid to a pair of spotting and applying holes in an ion activity measuring instrument, to measure the activity of specific ions in the liquid, to be inspected, with high accuracy and to measure and treat many liquids, to be inspected, at high speed and at low costs in an electrolyte measuring method and an apparatus wherein the activity (concentration) of the specific ions in the liquid to be inspected is measured by using the ion activity measuring instrument. CONSTITUTION:A liquid to be inspected is spotted and applied to one liquid spotting and applying hole 420 out of a pair of spotting and applying holes by a spotting and applying utensil 32, the spotting and applying utensil 32 is then moved to its spotting and applying position, another spotting and applying utensil 42 which has beld a reference liquid is then moved to a spotting and applying position to the other liquid spotting and applying hole 410 out of the pair of spotting and applying holes, and the other liquid is spotted and applied to the other spotting and applying hole 410. |
