摘要 <p>Sandwich structure is built up from (1) a first, outer layer (0.05- 1 mm. thick) comprising a corrosion resistant metal; (2) a second layer, 0.02-0.5 mm. thick, of a melt adhesive comprising a copolymer contg. units derived from ethylene, an ethylenically unsatd. carboxylic acid, an ester of an ethylenically unsatd. carboxylic acid, and isobutylene (e.g. an ethylene/acrylic acid/n- or tert.-butyl acrylate/isobutylene copolymer); (3) a third layer, weighing 5-500 g./m2, of glass-fibres; (4) a layer, 2-20 mm. thick of a polymer, comprising a mixture (70-80 p.b.w./20-30 p.b.w.) of two polypropylenes of which the first is 1% soluble in toluene, and the second is >99% soluble in boiling toluene; (5) a layer, of glass-fibre, weighing 5-500 g/m2; (6) a layer, 0.02-0.5 mm. thick, of a melt-adhesive as described in (2) above; (7) an outer layer of a corrosion resistant metal. The products (obtd. by conventional lamination pressing methods, have outstanding resistance to delamination. Used as structural elements in building (e.g. partitions), ship and vehicle components.</p>
