<p>PURPOSE: To provide a heat exchanger used for a computer-system within a wide range extending over a large-scale parallel processor from a work-station and utilized together with an air cooling device and a water cooling device. CONSTITUTION: The heat exchanger 10 has a base-plate 14, a plurality of liquid fluid conduits 11 and manifold means 15a, 15b, and a plurality of fins 12 are arranged in parallel mutually. The fluid fluid conduits 11, through which a liquid is passed, are disposed while being penetrated to a plurality of the fins 12. The fins 13a, 13b, 13c are constituted so that the fluid path of the liquid meanders in cooperation with a shroud 40. The heat exchanger can be switched from a cooling mode by a heat-sink to a cooling mode by air cooling using a shroud 30, or to a cooling mode by liquid cooling using the shroud 40.</p> |
