PURPOSE:To obtain the musical sound generating method for a natural sound suppressed in the freak of lingering tone. CONSTITUTION:The generated interval data from an interval data generating circuit 4 are compared with interval data stored in interval registers 0b-3b in respective sound source circuits 0-3. When none of the sound source circuits 0-3 generates a coincidence output, specific data of the sound source circuits are stored in respective stages 5b0-5b3, the data are shifted in order and looped between the stages 5b0 and 5b3, and a sound source circuit is selected corresponding to the output of the shift register 5b which outputs the specific data cyclically to generate a musical sound signal. When the sound source circuit 0-3 generate the coincidence output, a musical sound signal having the same interval is generated again by the sound source circuit which has generated the coincidence output on the basis of the interval data. At the same time, the specific data are looped between the stage where the specific data of the shift register 5b are stored and the stage 5b0 which outputs them finally to assign the next and succeeding order of this sound source circuit to the end. |
