摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an optical trigger thyristor, wherein a connector on the side of an optical fiber can be attached to and removed from a connector on the side of an element by bringing an existing material into contact with the surface of a light receiving window and the edge of an external light transmission path, and the optical transmission efficiency is high. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting member 109 made of gel-state material, silicon rubber or the like is provided at the front part of a light receiving window 101. A connector 107 on the side of an optical fiber is connected to a connector 105 on the side of an element. When an external optical fiber 102 is inserted into a light receiving part 110 in this way, the transmitting member 109 is deformed and comes into close contact. Thus, a part between the light receiving window 101 and the external optical fiber 102 is filled with the transmitting member 109. The ration between the refractive index of the external optical fiber 102 and the refractive index of the transmitting member 109 is about 1. Therefore, the optical signal passing a tip part 102a of the external optical fiber 102 is not too much refracted. Even if there is diverging light, the light is reflected from the interface between the transmitting member 109 and air. Therefore, the optical transmission efficiency is improved.
