<p>PURPOSE:To enable a microcomputer which deadlocks to automatically recover by providing an oscillation circuit, a microcomputer provided with a halt func tion and a nonmaskable interruption function, and a timer. CONSTITUTION:If a CPU core 12 runs away owing to an external noise, etc., to enters a halt state while external acceptance is inhibited, an NMI signal varies to 'H' a certain time after the start point of the halt state. This NMI signal is inputted to the nonmaskable interruption terminal of the CPU core 12 and the NMI signal varies to 'H' to enable the CPU core 12 to recover to the normal operation state from the halt state even if the external acceptance is inhibited. Further, if an external interruption is initiated for some reason, an oscillator 11 begins to oscillate with the NMI signal and the CPU core 12 recovers to the normal operation from the halt state.</p> |
