PURPOSE:To simply evaluate and judge the sort of inputted image data and to simply remove noise. CONSTITUTION:An input part 100 scans an original, reads out the picture of the original and outputs the read picture as image data. A matrix developing part 110 two-dimensionally develops the inputted image data like the original picture within the range of a memory with prescribed capacity. A continuity evaluating part 120 remarks black image data out of the developed image data, evaluates continuity in the X and Y directions of the black image data and outputs the maximum value of evaluation as the evaluated result of a block consisting of continuous black image data. A noise removing part 200 removes noise based upon the evaluated result. |
