PURPOSE:To always convert outline data into well-balanced data, regardless of output sizes, by providing a storage means, an output size designation means, an outline selection means and a paint-out means. CONSTITUTION:A storage means stores characters and graphics, etc., as one or plural outline data stipulating the shapes of the contours. In accordance with the output size designated by an output size designation means (the size when data is converted into dot), an outline selection means selects pertinent outline data from plural outline data stored in the storage means. Further, a paint-out means converts the outline data into dot patterns. Thus, outline data can be always converted into well-balanced dot data, regardless of output sizes. |
