PURPOSE:To provide a developing device for nonmagnetic one-component toner having a uniform printing density. CONSTITUTION:In the developing device making toner a thin layer on the face of a developing roller by a developing blade 6, in such a manner that the longitudinal side of the developing blade 6 extended in the axial direction of the developing roller 4 is clamped by first and second holder plates 7 and 8 and fixed in cantilever, one surface of a free end side is pressed with contact with the face of the developing roller and it is rotated, a shim 10 whose longitudinal side is longer than the second holder plate 8 and short side is shorter than that is provided between the developing blade 6 and the second holder plate 8, so that press-contact force in the vicinity of a press-contact part nearest to the fixing position of a screw 9 and except the vicinity is uniformized. |
