PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of moire fringes and irregularity of an image which may reduce observability and shade readability of an image in a radiation detector for obtaining a radiation image through static grid in which regions having different radiation transmitting characteristics are regularly aligned. CONSTITUTION:A radiation detector 31 has opening patterns of different types for respective solid photodetecting elements Pi, which are so arranged that the patterns are disposed at random. A grid 20 has regions 21 made of aluminum and regions 22 made of carbon regularly aligned, and hence radioactive rays passed through the regions 22 arrive at the detector 31 at regular interval responsive to the regions 21, 22 regularly aligned. However, since opening regions of the detector 31 are different at the opening patterns at respective elements Pi, no moire fringes and irregularity occur at an image reproduced based on image information detected by the detector 31, and observability and shade readability of the image are not reduced.
