A lighting or signalling device comprises a casing or base (20) obtained by moulding, and a lens (10) which can be fixed onto the casing or base by at least one peripheral lip (11) engaged in at least one associated groove (30) in the casing or base, an adhesive and/or sealing means provided in the bottom of the groove, and mutual attachment means (12, 21) between the lip of the lens and at least one wall of the groove. The attachment means comprise teeth (21) formed in at least one of the walls (23) of the groove and projecting towards the inside of the groove, and complementary elements (12) provided on the lip of the lens. An opening (22) left by a mould part participating in the formation of the tooth is provided in line with each tooth (21) at the bottom of the groove. <IMAGE>
