PURPOSE:To allow positive intermediate stripping of a wire even at a bent part thereof in an existing wire processing unit wherein a bent wire is introduced through a shutter into a wire guide and then inverted into U-shape. CONSTITUTION:A bent wire 19 is introduced through a wire insertion port 4 into wire guide 2, 3 while being straightened along the inclining tip part 22 of a shutter 23. The operation is promoted by the curved surfaces at the inclining tip part 22 or a protruding part 31. The wire 19 is then clamped in the orthogonal direction by means of a clamp 11 and and subjected to intermediate slide stripping by means of a sliding blade 10 cut into the coating thereof. In this regard, a movable wire guide 3 slides together with the blade 10 to ensure the intermediate stripping stroke. This structure allows positive intermediate stripping and additional installation of an intermediate wire stripping unit in the space of an existing wire processing unit, i.e., at a U-bending part of wire in front of an inverting disc. |
