PURPOSE:To reduce a circuit scale in a gradation data generation circuit used when the thining process is performed on the weighted data, and a gradation display is performed on a display device. CONSTITUTION:Plural gradation display setting values provided with an odd pixel setting value and an even pixel setting value different from each other are held as plural table setting values. The gradation data are generated from the data read out from a VRAM 11, and one of the table setting values is selected as the selected table setting value based on the gradation data. Then, the selected table setting value is thinned based on a discrimination signal discriminating an odd pixel and an even pixel on a display picture and a frame number, and the display data are obtained. |
