<p>PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized electron gun by shortening the axial length of a cathode. CONSTITUTION:To save the welding space of a cathode ribbon 5 in the direction laid along the axis of a metal support cylinder 3 for supporting and fixing the cathode 1 of a cathode body structure, a flange 3d is provided on the minor diameter part 3b of the metal support cylinder 3 consisting of the minor diameter part 3b for holding and fixing the cathode body 1 inserted to the inner part and a major diameter part 3a the outer circumference of fixed to an insulating board 2, and the cathode ribbon 5 is welded to the flange 3d.</p> |
