PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device by making the diameter of the developing roller of an electrophotographic device, so as to miniaturize a developing means. CONSTITUTION:In the developing means of the electrophotographic device attaining development with a once-component nonmagnetic developer, the developing roller 7 provided to freely rotate by a supporting shaft 7a in a developing unit 1 is composed of the supporting shaft 7a, an elastic roller 15 provided on the supporting shaft 7a and a regulating roller 8 provided on the supporting shaft 7a located on both sides of the elastic roller 15 and having a diameter larger than that of the elastic roller 15. The regulating roller 8 is abutted on the supporting shaft 2a of a photosensitive body 2, to abut the elastic roller 15 on the photosensitive body 2 with a prescribed nipping quantity, so that the developing roller 7 is made smaller, the developing unit 1 can be miniaturized and further, the device can be miniaturized as well. |
