PURPOSE:To accelerate the figure plotting by registering a plotting pattern and to suppress a registered area to a fixed size or below by replacing it according to frequency in use. CONSTITUTION:When the plotting is requsted, by a register table search means 11, it is judged whether or not the identification data incorporated in the plotting data are registered in a plotting pattern register table 16. By a frequency in use calculation means 12, the frequency in use is calculated related to all entries of the plotting pattern register table 16 based on the frequency information, and by a minimum frequency pattern ensure means 13, the content of the entry where the frequency in use is least is erased. By a plotting pattern development/ register means 14, the plotting pattern constituted of a bit map image is developed from the plotting data, and is registered in the free entry of the plotting pattern register table 16 together with the identification data and the frequency information. By a plotting means 15, the plotting pattern is extracted from the plotting pattern register table 16 and registered, and the frequency information is updated. |
