PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing efficiency of a check data storage device in the medical information system and to operate the medical information system smoothly without revision of a program even when a check item is newly added. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a check item master file 1 comprising plural areas 10, 11...1n, storing check items being object of check already and able to store check items being an object of check in future and a check data storage device 2 having records R1, R2...Rn storing data of check items to be measured actually, and each of the records R1, R2...Rn of the (check data storage device 2 is made up of a variable data part V comprising only the area storing data of check items measured actually and areas F0, F1,...Fn corresponding to the areas 10, 11...1n of the check item master file 1 and a fixed index part F storing addresses of the area forming the variable data part V forms the area corresponding to the check item measured actually as a feature in this medical information system storage device. |
