PURPOSE:To secure the effective synchronization between the image data and the voice data which have different forms. CONSTITUTION:The voice data corresponding to the image data which are equivalent to a single frame and fetched at an image input/output part 1 are converted into the digital data at a voice processing part 3 and latched at a latching part 41 of a format converting part 4. The part 4 writes the voice data into a memory part 42 by 8 times and then horizontally extends the voice data. Then the extended voice data are read out of the part 42 by 8 times, and the format of the voice data is converted into a format of the image data of (8X8) vertical/horizontal pixels. The converted voice data are compressed as the image data at a compressing/expanding part 5, put into a blanking area of the corresponding image data, and stored in a storage part 6. In a reproduction mode, the processing carried out in an input mode is reversed to both image and voice data. Thus the images and the voices are restored synchronously with each other. |
