PURPOSE:To prevent stray light generated in a module from being received by a light receiving element without using a light shielding body in a bidirection wavelength multiplexed light transmission module. CONSTITUTION:This bidirection wavelength multiplexed light transmission module is composed of a light emitting element 1, lenses 2, 3, a waveguide type optical multiplexer/demultiplexer 11, a light receiving element 6, a package 10 housing a single mode optical fiber 7 and a cover 12 hermetically sealing the package 10 from the upper side and the cover 12 is coated with a black chromate treated coating 13 for light apsorption. By absorbing a light leaked into the package 10 among the lights emitted from the light emitting element 1, the intrusion of stray light to the light receiving element 6 is prevented. |
