<p>Lightweight transport vehicle in which a pedal propulsion system operated by a user is supplemented by an electric motor which provides an auxiliary torque. A suitable regulating system automatically controls, depending on the driving torque generated by the user of the vehicle, the motor so as to cause it to produce an auxiliary driving torque in the power/muscle ratio predefined by the user. The means operated by the user for producing the driving force comprise a pedal or crank system with a kinematic mechanism in which the amplitude of the working stroke of the pedals or cranks is chosen by the user and allows the user to exert his/her thrusting action practically constantly, without the discontinuities present in pedal crank and rotating crank systems. <IMAGE></p> |
