<p>PURPOSE:To relieve the effect of corrosive gas and improve the life of an electronic apparatus, by forming a material segment inside a cabinet accommodating the electronic apparatus which material reacts with the corrosive gas or absorbs it. CONSTITUTION:By putting a material segment in a cabinet which material reacts with corrosive gas or adsorbs it, the concentration of the corrosive gas is reduced, and the corrosion generated mainly during pause can be restrained. That is, when the kind of the corrosive gas is obtained by using a corrosive gas measuring kit, and the kind is known, the meterial segnement which quickly reacts with the gas or adsorbs it is put in the cabinet, and made to react with the corrosive gas. Thereby the corrosion of a metal component is reduced. One of the corrosive gasses is nitrogen oxide(NO) or nitrogen peroxide (NO2). As to these gasses, adsorption is more effective than reaction with metal For adsorbent, SiO2 - Al2O3 mixture or YBa2Cu3Oy superconducting material which are excellent in NO2 adsorbability is preferably used.</p> |
