PURPOSE:To constitute a split multipole connector such that it detects the incomplete clamp at connection with the other connector in the case that incomplete clamp occurs in a plurality of multipole connectors in a frame. CONSTITUTION:A first connector 13 is constituted by providing a plurality of multipole subconnectors 22a and 22b with a clamp means in a frame 21 and temporary clamp projections 16, and engaging and clamping the multipole subconnectors 22a and 22b in the frame 21 so as to joint them when there is no insertion error, and also a second connector 14, to which this first connector is to be connected, is provided with a temporary clamp arm 17 for pushing out the multipole subconnectors 22a and 22b out of the frame 21 when it collides with a temporary clamp projection 16 and that there is trouble between the multipole subconnectors 22a and 22b and the frame 21.
