Method and device for automatic distribution of microfilter discs

In order to carry out test methods using in vitro immuno diagnosis in small tubes or cavities in microtitre plates (7) as the vessels for reacting a liquid with a solid phase, by using allergen-coated microfilter discs (1) as the solid phase and industrial or pipetting robots (4) for transporting the same, in a first working step the microfilter discs (1) are presented for microfilter disc transfer in a disc presentation in the form of a microfilter disc dispenser (2) in a position, defined in the X/Y/Z directions, parallel to the surface of a working platform of an industrial robot such as a pipetting robot (4) which, in a second working step, individually takes the microfilter discs (1) from a microfilter disc dispenser (2) using a vacuum gripper unit (5) which is free to move in the Z direction and is located on the robot arm (6), free to move in the X/Y directions, of a robot, and, in a third working step, transfers these discs into corresponding reaction vessels with likewise defined position, in which the microfilter disc (1) is placed in the predetermined reaction vessel by interruption of the vacuum. <IMAGE>
