A housing is provided with a covering which can be fastened thereon by means of a clamping-type closure. Whereas conventional clamping-type closures on such housings merely effect rapid complete removal and/or rapid assembly, the design according to the invention permits, depending on the actuation position of the clamping-type closure, either complete separation of the housing parts from one another or the formation of a hinged connection between the two housing parts.
