This invention provides a far infrared radiation panel (2) having a high safety, excellent design characteristics and a high workability; a heating apparatus (1) using such a panel (2); and a bathroom (5), a shower room, a lavatory or a warming room suitable to effectively operate this heating apparatus (1) therein. A far infrared radiation panel obtained by coating an outer surface of a flat heating element (21), which has a conductive substance mixed therein, applied thereto or impregnation-polymerized therewith, with a film (7) having water resistance and waterproofing characteristics; and further coating the whole outer surface of the resultant product with a refractory layer (8) formed by applying far infrared ray-permeable inorganic paint to the surface, printing the same surface with inorganic ink, or pasting the same surface with an inorganic sheet. A heating apparatus (1) provided with this panel (2), a means (3) for supplying an electric current to this panel (2), and a controller (4) for controlling an amount of current supplied by this means (3). A bathroom (5) having the heating apparatus (1) the panel (2) of which is provided on at least a sidewall, a floor and a ceiling of the bathroom (5), and a bathtub lid. |
