<p>The present invention relates to a locking device for double doors and the like, comprising a bolt follower (15) applied on one of the doors, cooperating with a lock on the other door. The invention is characterized in that the lock comprises a lock case (1) having a laterally directed notch (2), and a pivotably journalled (5) cam (4) in which a notch or recess (4A) is also provided, so that the bolt follower (15) is pressed against one side of the cam notch (4A) during a closing movement and thereby rotates the cam (4) which thus, via levers and/or a link mechanism, forces a dead-bolt (11) into the lock. Opposite movement presses the bolt follower (15) against another side of the cam notch and opposite movement results.</p> |
