<p>A device (1) for real time acquisition and processing of data concerning the position and/or physical performance of one or more persons (7) moving over an area (9), particularly sports players moving over a sports ground, comprises: a) means (3) for real time acquisition of the current individual position of each person on the area; b) means (13) for digital processing associated with said acquisition means to determine a set of numerical quantities representative of the physical performance of said persons, on the basis of instantaneous position information; c) interface means (15) connected to said digital processing means (13) for preparing the numerical quantities representative of physical performance, and their graphic representation.
