Device for making bores in a dish or a rim of a motor-vehicle wheel

The device serves to make bores in a wheel of a motor vehicle by means of a numerically controlled machining centre. The wheel is held in a clamping fixture which permits pivoting of the wheel about an axis (24) perpendicular to the wheel axis. The clamping fixture contains a pivot bearing on both sides of the wheel. The clamping fixture is designed as an indexing attachment (22). One of the pivot bearings is formed by a rotary device and the other pivot bearing is formed by a counter bearing (30) of the indexing attachment (22).
