The invention discloses roadway slabs (12.1, 12.2), of which each has an upper part (16) which is curved upwards in a convex manner such that, when it is subjected to loading, it tends to flatten out. Side parts (26, 40) hang down from the edges of the upper part (16). The side part (26) forms an upwardly open channel (C), which is designed such that it can receive the side part (40) of an identical roadway slab.
