PURPOSE:To provide a fluorescent lamp system in which increase in temperature of a fine tube caused by heat of a bulb is prevented and amalgam is kept at optimum temperature. CONSTITUTION:In a fluorescent lamp system in which a fluorescent lamp 20 is fixed at one end of a cover 1 having a base 3 at the other end, an electronic lighting circuit component 10 mounted on a circuit board 11 is accommodated in the cover 1, and fine tubes 23, 24 are protruded from the end, where an electrode 22 is sealed, of the fluorescent lamp 20, the fine tubes 23, 24 are protruded longer than the circuit board 11 to the base 3 side, and the tubes 23, 24 and the electrode are thermally shielded by the circuit board 11. Since the tubes 23, 24 are protruded longer than the circuit board 11 to the base 3 side, the bulb and the tubes 23, 24 are thermally separated by using the circuit board 11 as a heat shield, and heat transfer to the tubes 23, 24 from the bulb is decreased and temperature increase of amalgam is reduced. |
