The invention relates to a printing machine (1) which has inside it two frame plates (3) which are fixed relative to each other by a profile element (6) of continuous casting aluminium. The profile element (6) has a bearing for a paper conveying device (14) and a paper conveying surface (17, 18, 19). By means of precisely positioned bores (26) in the profile element (6) and the frame plate (3), precise alignment of the frame plate (3) and thus of the constituent parts of the printer are achieved. <IMAGE>
