<p>The bed comprises a frame (1) and support surface (8) of variable geometry. The support surface (8) consists of mattress support elements (11, 12, 13, 14, 16) arranged in three independent sub-assemblies (17, 18, 19), two of which (17, 19) can move longitudinally on the frame (1) and can be removed simply by lifting. Some of the mattress support elements (12, 14, 16) can be adjusted for height and angle. A head-rest element (11) rests freely on the next mattress support element (12) which can be adjusted longitudinally on the sub-assembly framework (17). A greater number of configurations are possible, and handling of the bed is simplified by separating the frame from the sub-assemblies.</p> |
