PURPOSE:To record with a low recording power and with a higher density at a higher speed while maintaining a strength of reproduced light resistance of a write-once type recording medium containing dyes as the main ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A write-once type optical information recording medium having a dye recording layer provided on board is used. Minimum recording power is measured, and recording is conducted by physically varying a recording layer by using recording power of total power of 20mW or less while applying a power 1/10-1/2 of minimum recording power thereto as a bias power. Reproducing is conducted by a power of less than 1/10 of the minimum recording power. |
