PURPOSE:To obtain a motor which prevents the generation of an abnormal sound and the damage of a piezoelectric body and which is driven at high output and with high efficiency. CONSTITUTION:In a drive control circuit for an ultrasonic motor 1, traveling waves are generated at a stator 2 by supplying electric power to piezoelectric elements 3a, 3b installed at the stator 2 from a voltage-controlled oscillation circuit 7, and a rotor 5 is turned by the traveling waves. In the drive control circuit, filter circuits 10a, 10b which pass only a normal current based on the electric power supplied from the voltage-controlled oscillation circuit 7 are installed between the voltage-controlled oscillation circuit 7 and the piezoelectric elements 3a, 3b. |
