The support consists of a standardised base in the form of a ring with a support (1) for positioning against the rear of the patient head. A fixture on the ring is diametrically central to the position for the support, and a positioning component fixes the front side of the head. For optimal adjustment of the support to the shape of the patient head, at least a part of the surface for location against the head releasably accommodates at least a distance component made of thermoplastic polymer material which undergoes plastic deformation, after which it is shape-stable. |
