PURPOSE:To output a signal as a natural movement signal by detecting a jitter of a synchronizing signal for the comparison of a frame difference detection signal using a frame memory and varying the comparison level in response to the level. CONSTITUTION:Since the value of a frame difference output of a synchronizing signal portion is fluctuated in response to time fluctuation, the output is integrated over several-several tens frames by an integration circuit 16 to apply pseudo DC processing. The value 17 and the output from a frame difference detection circuit 13 are compared by a comparison circuit 18 to obtain a binarized detection output 19. Then a comparison level 17 is approached to '0' with respect to a signal having a time fluctuation such as a VTR signal so as to be in moving direction and in case of the input of a normal NTSC signal input, the comparison level is increased and still picture and moving picture are separated correctly. Thus, unnatural changeover is avoided to obtain natural movement. |
